We source our cream from Northiam Dairy. Our butters are from Maryland Farmhouse in Somerset and The Garlic Farm on the Isle of Wight.

Maryland Farmhouse butter is churned in Somerset to the traditional recipe used by the Barber family since they started making butter in the 1800s. Special traditional cultures used in the Dairy provide this Farmhouse Butter its own unique and distinctive flavour making it very different from the commodity products made in many factories today.
It is still produced on the farm from the cream of the fresh milk collected daily from Barber's own and other neighbouring dairy herds. Only salt is then added to complement the natural flavours and to help preserve it longer. The result is a butter full of the interest and character that keeps Maryland Farmhouse Butter as popular today as it has ever been.
