Stanhill Farm News!

It is British Beef Week from Sunday 23rd - Sunday 30th April and an opportunity to focus on recognising and highlighting British beef farmers and the work they do to support sustainable practices on their farms. It is down to the strides being taken by British farmers that means beef from Britain continues to maintain its position as being amongst the most sustainable in the world.

We stock beef mince and braising steak, with topside usually available at the weekend. Sourced from Glovers Quality Meats in Hartley, Kent, owned and run by the Glover family for four generations. Delivered to Stanhill Farm every week on a Tuesday and Friday. Orders welcome – subject to availability.
 
Good news! We are finally seeing some of the wholesale prices come down. This means we can reduce some of our prices! The reduction applies to the following produce (mainly salad items): Spring onions, Iceberg lettuce, Cherry vine tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, and courgettes.
 
Stanhill Farm rhubarb is now available, priced at £6.00 per kilo. Zero food miles and packed with plenty of nutrients, including vitamin C and fibre. We do love a delicious rhubarb crumble, topped with hot custard!
 
We are currently harvesting parsnips, leeks, and rhubarb, Fresh from the fields, zero food miles and no plastic!
 
All of the above are available to buy from both our Farm Shop and Click & Collect Service, with the exception of the beef, which is only available from the Farm Shop. Subject to availability.
